Job Description for Psychiatric Aide

  • Assist psychiatric patients with daily therapeutic and hygiene needs under direction of nursing and medical staff.
  • Maintain records of patient's condition and activity and report observations to professional staff.
  • Accompany and supervise residents on educational and recreational group outings.
  • Restrain or aid patients as necessary to prevent injury.
