A radio frequency (RF) optimization engineer is responsible for optimizing the radio frequencies before and after launch of products. To help do this, the engineer must be able to explain advanced technological information to non-technological members of their team. They must also be able to solve problems that arise related to radio frequency optimization using a wide variety of methods. Additionally, radio frequency optimization engineers are responsible for of integrating their knowledge with that of the rest of their team to come up with solutions and ideas to help optimize radio frequencies. This is generally a full-time position, although overtime and travel may occasionally be required depending on the needs of their company.
Because radio frequency optimization engineer is a skills-based position, there are several educational and experience requirements. They are generally required to have at least a bachelor's degree in a related field, as well as at least three years of relevant engineering experience. They also need to be able to resolve complex issues in the areas of radio frequencies. Additionally, radio frequency optimization engineers need to possess strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills. They should work well independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team setting.

Post process drive data and recommend necessary actions to fix issues.
Perform analysis of network key performance indicators (KPIs), Stats & Parameters for networks.
