Reading Specialist Advice

What do you wish you knew about your job when you first started out?

Reading Specialist in Fort Lauderdale:
"Teachers are underpaid and it's not fair."
Make sure your job title is what you are actually doing. Inquire about bonuses, salary, and teach in a school where you feel appreciated. Follow up with teachers to make sure they are implementing resources you provided to help students succeed. Don't teach in south Florida, up north pays much more and the cost of living in Florida is ridiculous as well as the people.
