Job Description for Real Estate Assessor

Real estate assessors are responsible for appraising real estate and performing other duties as required. They are in charge of providing accurate real estate information to all interested parties. They are familiar with estate regulations, pricing, and contracts, and they are able to explain in detail how to interpret valuation appraisals. Additionally, they participate in tax assessment activities and use their advanced technical skills to modify agreements. They know how to properly value land, construction, and other personal properties.
