A rehabilitation program manager oversees the functions of the entire rehabilitation center. They work with the medical director, interdisciplinary management, and leaders within occupational health services to ensure program excellence. This manager is responsible for overseeing various supervisory positions within the rehabilitation program, and they must ensure constant and effective communication with all team members. They must be able to make effective, timely decisions regarding the rehabilitation program. The rehabilitation program manager should display knowledge of state laws as they apply within the facility as well. Additionally, they should work to develop trusting relationships with physicians, patients, and staff, including directors and supervisors who assist in decision-making. The manager must maintain all privacy and safety standards as well.
