Resident medical officers constantly review policies and procedures according to patients' needs and may work with nurses or the psychotherapy or radiology departments on any given day. They also conduct check-ups with in-patients and out-patients; during patient reviews, they must examine patients' medical histories and the services received, as well as access procedural activity related to the patients' treatment.
A medical degree and the completion of an internship are essential for this position, and excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership are highly beneficial. Prior supervisory or registration experience within the medical field are also helpful to ensure that duties are executed with diligence and precision.
