Restaurant Assistant Manager - (City withheld for privacy), Tennessee, United States
I once asked my previous boss if I could step up in position...contradicting a larger jump in pay possibility.

My boss very carefully asked me what was more important....Position or Pay?

I repeated Position.

I said that because I enjoyed what I was working with at that particular time.

After, about four months into the new job position... I still enjoyed my new position at a different location... even though the pay was enough to get me by on living expenses, until I ran into health complications... then I wished I had better...pay.

This led to eventual dismissal by the company I worked for, because of their own monetary budget constrcitions.

I then tried to transfer to a new city with a difeerent budget and could not stay employed with that company any longer.
