Retail sales managers are responsible for managing staff within a retail store. They must oversee day-to-day operations and supervise salespeople and customer service representatives. They are also responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training prospective new employees. Their primary concern is helping retail sales staff achieve their sales targets while ensuring the best possible customer service and satisfaction.
