What is it like working as a Security Officer at Allied Barton Security Services Inc.?
Security Officer in Boston:
"Wonderful company to work for."
Pros: Great management, plenty of overtime available, good uniforms, quality co-workers, exclusive/selective hiring allows for a higher-quality of security officers being hired which means most people show up on time and know what they are doing, they have company vehicles, decent benefits, health insurance packages available, weekly pay, intelligent website and pay monitoring software, and excellent training programs that allow you to walk into work feeling confident about your ability to complete your assigned tasks.
Cons: Sometimes it can be boring, I don't feel challenged most of the time, and it's not my dream job.
Security Officer in Hutchinson:
Pros: You have a horrible job that may or may not pay at least most of your bills but you will never have any more.
Cons: My entire chain of command are absolutely moronic! They have cost the company money, they lie every chance they get, they do not even do their job, and then they blame you for their screw ups. You will hate your life after working for them for even 3 months.
They have made threats of termination even though my job performance is top notch. I called in sick following the protocol and got written up even though it was my first time calling in over a year of working for them. I constantly pick up after my supervisor and he takes all the credit.
To put it bluntly: If anybody else at Allied Barton got hurt or worse I wouldn't even acknowledge it. They are the scum of the Earth!
Security Officer in Deerfield Beach:
"Stress Level Is Low, Flexible Shifts."
Pros: Same as summary but also management is not on top of you and you are barely put to the test.
Cons: The only complaint I have is of course about the pay. With my experience and credentials, I would expect to be paid at least two or three dollars an hour more.
