Some responsibilities of the position include: deployment of programs; assessing the success of programs and modifying/improving them as needed, guiding practices to develop new ideas; providing support to those who uphold programs; making recommendations and provide advice/feedback; helping programs meet important deadlines and milestones; and communicating any issues to the clinical program director.
A senior clinical consultant generally works in a hospital, often from 9 to 5. On some days, they may be on their feet all day making sure things are in order, while other days will be spent at a computer making sure all databases are up-to-date.
