A senior industrial engineer generally works in the manufacturing industry to develop improvements to, and maintain the efficiency of, a company's manufacturing processes. This involves carrying out feasibility analyses, creating prototypes, improving process methods, and working with employees to help improve their skills; this position may also involve direct training duties.
