The advertising senior project manager oversees a team of advertising professionals in a variety of tasks, including creating campaigns. brainstorming ideas, implementing campaigns, and adjusting marketing plans based upon the programs' successes and failures. The advertising senior project manager generally works full time during regular business hours, although overtime and alternative hours may be required depending on the needs of the business. Travel may be required as well to meet with clients and perform other job-related tasks.
The advertising senior project manager is generally required to have at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, as well as extensive previous experience in advertising. These managers must have excellent leadership skills, work well as the member of a team, and work well on their own with minimal supervision. They should also have strong communication skills and the creativity to create unique, effective advertising projects.
