A senior systems developer ensures that all development projects meet business requirements, fulfill end user requirements, and resolve system issues. They are also responsible for reviewing and analyzing existing applications for effectiveness and efficiency, as well as developing strategies on how to improve them. Additionally, they develop standards and processes that nurture a productive environment for project development, as well as manage and provide direction for development teams while providing technical leadership to project managers and programmers.
