A senior telecommunications specialist oversees a variety of electronic communication media, typically supervising and working with a telecommunications or information technology (IT) department. They ensures that all the ways the organization communicates (such as company email, company phones and phone lines, and video-conferencing software and hardware) operate properly and at maximum efficiency, and they may make recommendations to an analyst or an IT or communications department head regarding potential improvements.
