The senior vice president of property management is a positon that is commonly sought after by real estate development firms, property management companies, and other related industries. The majority of companies are looking for an applicant that has a bachelor's degree in a related field. Some companies prefer a master's degree, and other companies will want at least three to five years of experience managing properties. Still other companies are looking for as many as fifteen years of notable experience. Furthermore, some larger companies are looking for applicants that have had experience managing larger properties with many units.
