"Get your degree!"
I know, I know. Everyone says that. But what do you get out of a degree? Banks like to lend money to business owners with business degrees. Without a line of credit, growing your business will be difficult. Learning by doing is great. Just understand that when you do make a mistake, your wallet will take a hit. Making a mistake in school is no big deal....make the wrong mistake in business and you may just lose EVERYTHING! Go to work in the industry after you have your degree. Here you will learn hands on how to run your business (good and bad). Surround yourself with successful business owners. Pick their brain. Learn all you can about your chosen business BEFORE diving in the pool. This tip alone can save you a ton of money! Always have an escape plan if things don't work out and prepare your end game early. These plans are super important to refer to at a moments notice!
