The education required for software test analyst positions generally includes a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, SQL proficiency, and three to five years of software testing experience. Software test analysts must pay close attention to detail, have a solid understanding of common software issues, and have knowledge of the system(s) with which they work.
