  • Support the surgical team by analyzing staff quality and performance and suggesting improvements.
  • Restock surgical equipment as necessary and coordinate the delivery of equipment to various hospital departments.
  • Monitor sterilization, maintenance, packaging, and delivery of surgical equipment.

Pros: I have always enjoyed working closely with surgery. I enjoy the fast past nature with which it brings. I also have a strong staff that I can rely on.
Cons: There is no room for error. Either the job is done correctly, or it needs to be redone. If a mistake is made, it can lead to a lot of people upset with you ranging from surgeons, to nurses, to scrub techs, etc.
