They should also have strong communication skills, be able to multitask to meet deadlines, and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times. Additional administrative tasks may include filing, photocopying, maintaining calendars, and preparing mail, and tax clerks typically work indoors at a desk in an office setting.
An associate's degree in business, accounting, or a related field and knowledge of local tax laws and regulations are often minimum requirements for this position, and some employers also require prior experience as an administrative assistant.
