Traffic managers of logistics have a variety of responsibilities, including: developing and maintaining fair corporate-wide pricing models to be followed by all subsidiaries; monitoring pricing and how it affects profits; adjusting pricing strategies; staying up-to-date with performance indicators; working closely with the sales and marketing departments of their company; reviewing customer profitability profiles; creating and maintaining new policies and procedures; and ensuring that current pricing reflects current unit costs across the field.

  • Handle claims for lost-in-transit or damaged goods, obtaining replacements.
  • Calculate and evaluate diverse factors to choose delivery and transport mechanisms.
