Job Description for Training Facilitator
Training facilitators' main responsibilities include supporting the development and maintenance of the training programs. They are also in charge of monitoring training methods and then providing feedback on what needs to be improved. They must coordinate with a variety of departments in their organization to facilitate training on products, services, and other topics. Training facilitators work across a variety of fields. This is generally a full-time position that takes place in an office setting, and there are minimal physical demands. Depending on the company, travel may be required to oversee and lead trainings.
Training facilitator positions have the roughly the same desired qualifications across all prospective employers. This includes a bachelor's degree in a related field, as well as at least three years of relevant experience and knowledge of the field in which the company works. Proficiency with basic computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite is preferred. Being detail-oriented and possessing strong verbal and written communication skills are expected.
