Transition Facilitator Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Transition Facilitator?

Transition Facilitator in Atmore:
"I teach inmates life skills before leaving prison."
Pros: I talk and teach inmates to not not be inmates again. To make better choices with their life. Discussing real life situations, and introducing them to basic computer use to prepare them for a life outside of prison.
Cons: When inmates are defiant. When the prison environment affects their growth as human being. I do not get paid holidays, or paid sick days. Not good health benefits. Struggle financially with no promise of a raise.
