Transplant coordinators oversee all aspects of transplant surgeries and monitor their patients' health both in and out of the operating room. These coordinators are employed primarily by hospitals and other medical facilities and generally work traditional business hours; however, as health care is a 24-7 field, many may work longer hours or be on-call as surgeons are.
