Travel Consultant Salary

Travel Consultants in the United States tend to have a good amount of experience under their belt — three in five have more than 10 years in the field. While pay runs from $24K to $53K per year, median earnings come to $39K annually. Experience level is the biggest factor affecting pay for this group, followed by geography. Female Travel Consultants far outnumber their male contemporaries among survey respondents. Most workers in this position report high levels of job satisfaction. Unfortunately, some people in this line of work are without benefits — just under one in three lack coverage. On the flip side, the greater part have medical insurance and slightly more than half receive dental plans. This report is based on answers to PayScale's salary questionnaire.
