A truck driver (van) is responsible for driving a van or other vehicle usually weighing less than 26,000 pounds. They use these vehicles to deliver and/or pick up merchandise or packages, as well as take orders, intercept packages and deliver orders to the appropriate person. The work includes a physical component, since heavy lifting is sometimes required and the ability to stay alert while driving is needed.
