Job Description for Truss Engineering Designer

Trusses are a crucial component of any house or building. They are involved in the structural components of both floors and roofs. As a truss engineering designer, you will read the architectural prints set forth by the architect and create roof and truss placement layouts to ensure stability. These layouts will always have to conform to regulations, but within them, there are many opportunities for alterations in design. You will use very specific engineering software, which makes sure that whatever you design is accurate and safe. In addition to the design of the trusses, you will be required to be active in the construction of the building and make sure that the design is executed as you wish.
