Vascular Ultrasonographer Tasks

  • Process and code film, video and images from procedures and complete appropriate documentation.
  • Create two-dimensional recordings of vascular system using Doppler, Ultrasound and related equipment.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce and record images according to physician's directive.
  • Prepare and position patient for ultrasound exam and explain procedure, perform non-invasive vascular tests.
