A vice president (VP) of program management is responsible for ensuring that all programs are developed and carried out in line with company standards. They are also in charge of making sure that all new programs are on their development schedule and remain within their budget, as well as making sure that the development team is working in a safe, clean environment that is conductive to a positive workflow. Additionally, the vice president of program management must provide annual staffing and budget plans and quarterly updates to the company's senior management team. They may also serve in a direct supervisory role, providing feedback, instruction, and discipline for staff under their supervision.
