Welding supervisors are in charge of supervising welding performance and project completion on behalf of their company. They are responsible for overseeing welding tasks to make sure they meet safety requirements, production schedules and budgets, and product quality requirements. They communicate with welders and others within their organization to reach all organizational goals in a timely manner. Welding supervisors use their strong technical knowledge to recommend changes and anticipate issues with the welding process.
