Job Description for Workforce Development Coordinator

  • Oversee internal job training and support programs, facilitating classes and generating training materials.
  • Assess client and/or employee training needs and develop employment plans, recommending and coordinating supportive services.
  • Manage case files and information management systems, inputting and reporting client data and tracking progress.
  • Oversee Workforce Development daily operations, planning and coordinating activities and assigning tasks to staff.
  • Maintain database of community support services and local employers and utilize when making client/employee recommendations.
