Fair Pay
under paid I have worked for this company for over five years and this company keep telling me that the government does not give a rise. When the minimum wages go up then you will receive it. Right now I make six dollars an hour, That is only eithy five cents more.
3 types of people Any problem solving begins with "self learn to self taught. My current job is primarily working and education those of second language who do not comprehend and understand the ENGLISH language. Racial tension occurs among our youth but was learned at home. This problem evolves the attitudes among those who are for and for those who oppose support to certain ethnic groups. I work in a diverse multi-cultural school atmosphere that hold a majority of Phillipino's, Chamorro's, and Chuukese people. I was chosen to work in the field of Social Work and Education for youth ages 6-18 years of age. The school is one of the highest population growth on our island which creates many challenges. We are to transition those challenges. There are not that many thinkers and doers where I am situated. Many depend on my resources and my fortunate skills that makes things happen. When I speak of this manner I am speaking of those who depend much of me due to my skills and experience working with youth and families. Managing to do other peoples work is also an issue that many have become lacksed in the current jobs. Custodial and general maintenance to fix things is ignored unless they are told to fix it. Supervision is left unnoticed and not carefully observed to prevent violence and youth interests. School attendance can be major due to the number of individuals unaware of the current or changed laws among our island of it's US Territories. This makes the job more frustrating and hopeless as already many seemed not to care. We are in a constant disciplinary manner to keep young adults in check which sometimes many continue to break those simple rules. My role is to work with such groups and educate families and Teachers to some degree of this problem solving. The fear of new ideas is kept by some quietly because of the lack of support of others too busy or unwilling to work and extra effort to rectify the students problems. Most kids are quick to suspend for the reason's of passing the buck and sending them off whether they are making the grade or not. People around in my school are not eager to make those differences or perhaps because they don't know how or do not want to make the time. I am always faced by that dilemma. My rapport with upper management is quite in the same level of scope and mind when it comes to helping them solve social issues. My strongest asset is in customer service and implementation and coordinating special programs to enhance that development. I like offering resources and management mind tools to those who are willing to use the advice of guidance and knowledge. It's a simple as the greeting welcoming or meeting that customer's needs from the far front to ease their transition or visit to our school regardless of what issues they have. Good Manners and proper etiquette will come a long way especially when you demonstrate respect to them. I am that type of person preferable to give credit rather than take credit. It's within my nature. I that is important in any job I think is to provide the needs first and bring in the wants of their aspirations to keep them coming back. Life becomes a short fall for some but for others it may seem wasted. I carry a simple salary that does not to my opinion measure up to my standards when I am bringing matters out to the table. It is an endless battle. You can only run to certain people and I find that they are only three types. THOSE THAT WATCH THINGS HAPPEN, THOSE THAT MAKE THINGS HAPPEN AND THOSE THAT WONDERED WHAT HAPPENED. I like speaking in those terms to get the individual thinking. Many times it works for me. My compensation is in my volunteer work cannot measured because it's a hour worked for 25 years of my career and not once did I want to give up. There then is hope and one day, the efforts will all pay back.I am somewhat in my mid years of adult life but one must not guarantee a life time. I believe I am able to manage the executive branch level as well as training and skills module provided I am out there making that difference in the freedom and will power to be acknowledged and permitted by my Supervisors. I have no problem with that either. I am looking at a simple and fair compensation for my work and of course any man or woman wants the financial back up to support their families. A salary of $ 15.00 - $ 20.00 hourly salary can become the big responsibility. But in my case can be manageable if in the right place at the right time. As I hold a federal and permanent position and much so close to my home. All I know best is to keep on providing and doing what one knows best in sharing it is already working.Cathrina
Leadership and motivation I am currently occupying a position that provides an array of ideas, concepts, management skills, implementing, coordinating, and analyzing special project for youth and families.I specialize in youth programs and community events. This field allows me to do multiple tasks and programs. My devotion is geared to helping people come together in having fun learning. I carry on and volunteer in addition than the normal 8-5 working party. I am an active volunteer in all levels of communication to enhance creativity, work habit style, by taking existing programs and turning them into enjoyable and meaningful ways that people learn and want to enjoy.
fair treatment If you want to be treatment fairly, you must show that you can be a leader and be able to preform task without hesitation.
Accounts Payable Clerk When I am fairly compensated in salary I go over and beyond the call of duty for my company. This determines that I am appreciated. I have encounterd an experience that I was not treated fairly with pay no matter how hard I worked to do a good-faithful job for the company. The work was excessive, difficult and a struggle to keep up. This is not a good feeling. It's really difficult to handle a situation like that. A company will always grow when their employee is compensated fairly.
WHY THIS COMPANY DON'T WANT YOU TO COMPARE SALARIES. This company apparently does not posess high standards, its all about the monies that are being brought into this family generated company. From day one I started. I have found out that my salary was negoitiable, and I was not told that. I am doing the job of two individuals. So I suggested that I get some help like a La coordinator. ok, this was agreed upon, and I even had given them the the Job description of aLab-coordinator, and the person that I recommended was not even thought of, because they had in mind the person they wanted to hire. This person has a great sense of humor ,but not the right person for this type of job. Yes, this person was previously working out the Centers Cafeteria and was raised here more less as a student first and once graduated from the Job Corp Program they offered her a job. She has been working the Centers cafeteria for over 18 years and has not taken the opportunity to better herself by going to somebody's Technical college, or Community college to obtain some college credits in the Food Service Industry, But I am sure she was offered a salary a little bit more than she was receiving. But since the additional instructor was added my work load has been tripled instead of being contained. I really think the Department of Labor does not really know how these small companies operate internally.
Overpaid In all honesty, I have to say we as corrections officers are very well paid, bordering on overpaid, at least here in NJ. I would never complain of such a thing, just putting out the truth. I cant think of many other jobs where you can make over 100k within a few years(without overtime), without a college degree. On top of the great base pay, we have almost unlimited overtime whenever you want it,great benefits/pension, and very generous vaction/sick/personal/holiday pay. God bless the Unions!
Watch Your Employer Look at how you employer pays you. The right to work and fair pay by law for hourly pay scale. You might not be getting the fair pay when you are paid every 2 weeks for average 84 hours pay periods.
