Interviewing Tips
Don't be overly confident about knowing everything
Production Artist (Graphic Arts) - (City withheld for privacy), Nevada, United States
Be honest with what you know, but don't shoot out a bunch of terms and acronyms. People are still people and they are mostly looking for that perfect fit in addition to wanting your knowledge. The term "production artist" is sometimes confused with a graphic designer. A PA is more technically savvy, while the graphic artist is more design savvy. However, a PA knows what good design looks like. Most PAs are compiled of teams and being a team player is very important a degree more than knowing your stuff. You have to sell yourself as ready to work in a group, since that's how things get done.
