Degree Major

Former Falcons who fare the best in terms of salary hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and earn around $88K per year. A Bachelor of Science in Education commands less pay, and these degree-holders face salaries of about $39K.


Many BGSU grads have knowledge of Project Management, with around an eighth of alumni using this program on the clock. Project Management commands a pay premium of 29 percent for former Falcons. Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Customer Service rank among leading skills as well.

Benefits and Perks

Lacking in the benefits department, just half of the alumni report compensation for sick days and only one-third of alumni get vacation time. Dental insurance applies to most alums, and the greater part of graduates report health coverage. A strong majority of alumni opt for a 401(k) to save for retirement. Bowling Green State University grads are also lucky enough to receive life insurance, a casual working environment, a company-subsidized cell phone, and tuition reimbursement.
