Former CSU Bakersfield students are professionally suited for a wide range of fields including the agriculture industry, the engineering services industry, and clinical care. The majority of CSU Bakersfield alumni wind up in the health care industry. CSU Bakersfield graduates see an estimated starting salary of $55K.

California State University grads are also lucky enough to receive a company-subsidized cell phone, life insurance, a casual working environment, and tuition reimbursement.
Median pay for California State University grads is $58K, making their salaries most similar to those of CSU Bakersfield grads. California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, California State University-Northridge, and California State University-Los Angeles are also similar to CSU Bakersfield.
