Campbell alumni can most commonly be found in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, the education industry, and the financial services industry, though they are employed throughout a wide range of sectors. The retail pharmacy or drugstore industry is the sector most highly represented among alumni. Starting salaries of $57K are common among Campbell grads.


The biggest paychecks among Campbell alumni are earned by Business Unit Controllers — these former students make approximately $122K per year. The next biggest paychecks go to VPs of Operations ($110K) and Pharmacists ($102K). Salaries are anything but generous for High School Teachers, where earnings rank lowest on the pay scale at around $31K.


A large number of students head to Raleigh after college. Another city that attracts a wealth of Campbell grads is Morrisville; given its high compensation (about $108K is the average salary), the city's popularity should come as no surprise. Though Sanford takes the cake for lowest pay among Campbell grads (the median salary is $46K there), it remains a common destination for former students. In addition, Campbell grads flock to neighboring Durham as well as Charlotte.

Degree Major

Campbell students with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Accounting & Finance can expect to make the most money (approximately $122K per year) compared to their fellow graduates. Graduates holding a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics fare the worst in terms of compensation with yearly salaries of $33K.


Knowledge of Retail Pharmacy seems to be related to bigger paychecks; in fact, skilled alumni bring in salaries that are 85 percent more than their former classmates' salaries ($106K). Nearly one in ten grads report using Customer Service as part of their job, making it the most popular skill. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project Management, and Microsoft Office command top-of-the-line rewards as well.

Benefits and Perks

Only two-fifths of alumni for this school enjoy paid vacation days and about one-third of alumni get paid sick time. Most former students allocate some part of their earnings to a company-sponsored 401(k) savings plan. Benefits are rather generous for graduates of this school; a fair portion of alumni are rewarded with health insurance and a majority of grads report dental coverage, too. Campbell University alumni are rewarded with additional benefits, such as a casual working environment, life insurance, a company-subsidized cell phone, and tuition reimbursement.
