Campbell alumni can most commonly be found in the retail pharmacy or drugstore industry, the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and the construction industry, though they are employed throughout a wide range of sectors. The most popular professional field seems to be the education industry. Campbell graduates see an average starting salary of $58K.

Male graduates on average earn more than female graduates; the first group banks $68K per year, but the second group takes home only $56K.

Former Campbell students with an interest in making money consider becoming VPs of Operations, the highest-paying gig (average earnings amount to about $110K) among this alumni group. Other well-paid jobs include Pharmacists (around $99K) and Financial Controllers ($93K). Staff Accountants get the short end of the stick when it comes to salary; grads report making an average of approximately $45K in this job.

Many Campbell grads end up living in Raleigh, N.C., deeming it the most popular city for former students of this school. It is no surprise that Morrisville, N.C., which hands out the biggest paychecks (the average salary is $108K), is another of the most popular spots for former Campbell students. Sanford, N.C. is a popular spot for former Campbell students at the opposite end of the pay scale; in fact, average salaries there are the lowest at approximately $46K. Close-by Fayetteville, N.C. and Cary, N.C. are also desirable cities among Campbell alumni.

Degree Major

Among the highest-paid Campbell alumni are those with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) — they earn close to $118K on average per year. Those holding a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Accounting are less fortunate in terms of earnings, bringing in about $45K on average per year.

Customer Service is a common skill among Campbell alumni — one-eighth of grads mention using it at work. Knowledge of Retail Pharmacy seems to be related to bigger paychecks; in fact, skilled alumni bring in salaries that are 80 percent more than their former classmates' salaries ($105K). Other prime know-hows include Project Management, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Benefits and Perks

When it comes to benefits, there is room for improvement — only two-fifths of alumni are paid for vacation and just one-third of alumni for sick time. A strong majority of alums opt for a 401(k) to save for retirement. It is no small feat that a fair number of alums are given health coverage, and a majority of respondents accept dental insurance. Campbell University grads also enjoy benefits like a casual working environment, life insurance, a company-subsidized cell phone, and tuition reimbursement.

Related Schools

Alumni of Marymount University pick up average paychecks of $59K, which is closest to the amount made by Campbell grads among similar schools. Other schools similar to Campbell include Gardner-Webb University, Liberty University, and Lincoln Memorial University.
