The medical office industry, the long-term care or rehabilitation facility industry, and the health care services industry are just a few of the areas in which D'Youville College grads find work. The most popular field is the health care industry. Very few D'Youville College grads go into the physical therapist's office industry; in fact, less than five percent of the alumni pool enter this industry. Those with an education from D'Youville College earn an average of about $61K.


A gender wage gap becomes apparent after college, with male graduates earning only $54K on average compared to approximately $67K for female graduates.


In a competition to see who makes the most bank after graduating, those who become Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Regional Operations Directors would definitely win; on average, these alumni haul in around $93K every year. Close behind are Physician Assistants ($81K). Sitting at the bottom of the pay scale are School-Based Occupational Therapists, making an average of $50K.


Despite handing out the worst average salary ($55K), Buffalo holds on to its D'Youville College student population, and one-half of grads continue to reside in the city. On the other hand, D'Youville College alumni seeking the highest salaries end up in Charlotte, which offers median salaries of about $84K. Atlanta is also a top pick, as is Lewiston.

Degree Major

Financial compensation is highest for D'Youville College grads with a Master of Science (MS), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Studies (earnings climb to approximately $85K per year). A Bachelor of Science in Business Management is less advantageous in terms of earnings; alums with this degree are the lowest earners with annual pay of around $46K.


For D'Youville College grads, proficiency in Operations Management warrants a paycheck that is double other alumni salaries. Many D'Youville College grads have knowledge of Geriatrics, with close to one-eighth of alumni using this program on the clock. Acute Care, Customer Service, and Family Practice are desirable skills as well.
