A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (CS) earns ECU students the most money after college (an average $75K per year). Those with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration face salaries on the lower end, coming in at an average $32K per year.


One in seven grads report using Project Management as part of their job, making it the most popular skill. Former Pirates with Budget Management experience garner salaries that are 27 percent more than other grads' salaries. Other top skills include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Customer Service.

Benefits and Perks

A lucky minority (about two-fifths of alumni) are fortunate enough to be compensated for vacation while just one-third of alumni get sick time. Health benefits extend to most grads, and a majority of graduates also receive dental coverage. A large number of alums save up for retirement through a 401(k) plan. Other benefits that East Carolina University alumni receive are life insurance, a company-subsidized cell phone, a casual working environment, and tuition reimbursement.
