ETSU grads who hold a medical degree can expect to fare better than most fellow alumni, earning an average about $190K per year. Graduates holding a Bachelor of Science in Economics fare the worst in terms of compensation with an average yearly salary of $37K.


Former Buccaneers with SQL experience garner salaries that are 23 percent more than other grads' salaries. ETSU alumni are often well versed in Customer Service, with nearly one-tenth of grads ending up in jobs that require this skillset. In addition, those who are savvy in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Project Management are also considered highly skilled.

Benefits and Perks

Paid vacation days are a given for half of the alumni, but only one in three grads are rewarded with paid sick leave. A large number of alums enjoy benefits like health insurance, while a majority of grads receive dental plans, too. Most graduates participate in a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
