High Point University is a United Methodist university based in High Point, N.C. that is home to around 4,000 undergraduates. Much of campus life revolves around sports (Go Panthers!), and the urban location lets student freely explore the diverse, interesting city at their fingertips. The numbers in this rundown were provided by the HPU grads who participated in PayScale's salary survey.

Graduates of HPU go into the education industry, the software development industry, and the manufacturing industry, not to mention a variety of other lines of work. The most popular field is the banking industry. Those with a degree from HPU tend to make approximately $54K.
In the HPU alumni community, men make a median salary of $65K compared to their female counterparts, who earn $49K.
The most generous salaries among HPU alumni are reportedly earned by Information Technology Managers, whose earnings come to $92K, followed by Senior Marketing Managers (around $76K) and Human Resources Generalists (about $62K). Salaries are anything but generous for Staff Accountants, where earnings rank lowest on the pay scale at $37K.
Home to a large number of HPU alums, Greensboro is by far the most attractive city for these former students. HPU alumni seeking the highest salaries end up in New York, which offers median salaries of $73K. Though median pay is subpar (approximately $42K) relative to popular cities, choosing to stay in High Point after graduation is a common decision made by many alumni who have developed a love for the area. HPU alumni express interest in nearby Winston-salem and Raleigh as well.
A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (CS) will compensate HPU grads at a much higher rate than other fields — these alums tend to rake in $106K per year. Those with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting face salaries on the lower end, coming in close to $34K per year.
Marketing Management commands a pay premium of 43 percent for former Panthers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is common among HPU alumni, and when it comes to using it on the job, slightly less than one-fifth of former students report doing so. In addition, those who are savvy in Project Management, Customer Service, and Microsoft Excel are also considered highly skilled.
Only one in three grads for this school enjoy paid vacation days and about one in three grads get paid sick time. A fair portion of alums participate in a 401(k) program. Most former students receive health insurance, and a majority of former students get dental coverage. Additional benefits handed to High Point University alumni include life insurance, a company-subsidized cell phone, a casual working environment, and tuition reimbursement.
Lenoir grads bring in salaries of around about $52K, making them the most similar to HPU alumni in terms of earnings. Catawba College, Livingstone College, and Shaw University are also similar to HPU.
