Hope students with a B.A. in Business Administration can expect to make the most money ($85K on average per year) compared to their fellow graduates. The degree that warrants the lowest level of financial compensation is a B.A. in English Language (around $35K on average annually).


Marketing Communications is a popular skill among Hope alumni, with nearly one-tenth of grads reporting using it on the job. Knowledge of Microsoft Office seems to be related to bigger paychecks; in fact, skilled alumni bring in salaries that are 39 percent more than their former classmates' salaries (approximately $71K). Experience with Microsoft Office, Social Media Marketing, and Microsoft Excel is highly valued as well.

Benefits and Perks

A lucky minority (about two-fifths of alumni) are fortunate enough to be compensated for vacation while just one-fourth of alumni get sick time. A fair number of grads receive health insurance, and more than half of respondents get dental coverage. To plan for old age, a fair number of graduates maintain savings accounts through a company's 401(k) plan.
