Professionally, the health care industry, the education industry, and the banking industry are popular business areas among Pace alumni. The majority of alumni accept jobs in the financial services industry. It is quite common for Pace grads — a demographic that scores high on the SATs — to earn top-notch salaries in the workforce. Those with a degree from Pace make an average of $80K.


There is a sizable difference between men's post-college salaries and women's: the median for the former is $88K, but the median for the latter is only approximately $71K.


In the Pace alumni professional community, VPs of Human Resources make the highest median pay (about $169K), though Physician Assistants (around $78K), and Senior Financial Analysts ($76K) are close competitors. Salaries are anything but generous for Accountants, whose earnings rank lowest on the pay scale at $54K.

The top-paying city popular with Pace alumni is Atlanta, Ga., which offers a median salary of $109K. On the far end of the pay scale, Pace alumni often reside in Newark, N.J., which is home to the lowest pay at $56K. Other cities of interest among Pace alumni include nearby White Plains, N.Y. and Stamford, Conn.

Degree Major

Among the highest-paid Pace alumni are those with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Organizational Behavior — they earn close to around $178K on average per year. The degree that warrants the lowest level of financial compensation is a Master of Science (MS), Publishing (about $44K on average annually).


Operations Management commands a pay premium of 74 percent for Pace University grads. Many Pace grads have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with approximately one in seven alumni using this program on the clock. Experience with Project Management, Microsoft Office, and Financial Analysis is highly valued as well.

Benefits and Perks

Only one-third of alumni earn paid vacation and just one-fifth of alumni get paid sick time. A large number of graduates have medical plans, and a strong majority of grads have dental insurance. Most survey participants opt for a 401(k) to save for retirement. Pace University grads are also lucky enough to receive life insurance, a casual working environment, a company-subsidized cell phone, and tuition reimbursement.
