Graduates of Pace work in a variety of sectors including the education industry, the health care industry, and the banking industry. The most popular professional field seems to be the financial services industry. Reminiscent of their reportedly high performance on the SAT, Pace alumni often collect high salaries as well. Those with an education from Pace earn an average of $79K.


Male graduates on average earn more than female graduates; the first group banks $86K per year, but the second group takes home only $70K.


Pace grads who become Senior Tax Managers garner financial rewards beyond any other job type for this group — these alumni rake in an average about $178K annually. However, Physician Assistants and Corporate Controllers also rank as top-earners (bringing in approximately $89K and $87K, respectively). Collecting the smallest paychecks are Financial Analysts — they bring in around $56K.


Upon earning their degrees, many Pace grads prefer to remain in New York; in fact, one-half of grads appreciate the area so much that they find permanent jobs there. Another city that attracts a wealth of Pace grads is Atlanta, Ga.; given its high compensation (approximately $107K is the average salary), the city's popularity should come as no surprise. On the flipside, the lowest-paying city popular among Pace grads is Philadelphia, Pa. (median compensation is $65K). Close-by White Plains, N.Y. and Stamford, Conn. are also desirable cities among Pace alumni.

Degree Major

Pace grads who hold a Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Jurisprudence, or Master of Law (LLM) can expect to fare better than most fellow alumni, earning an average $130K per year. A B.A. in Communication commands less pay, and these degree-holders face median pay of $44K.


Microsoft Excel is a popular skill among Pace alumni, with about a seventh of workers reporting using it on the job. Knowledge of Operations Management seems to be related to bigger paychecks; in fact, skilled alumni bring in salaries that are 75 percent more than their former classmates' salaries (around $138K). Competency in Project Management, Microsoft Office, and Financial Analysis also warrants excellent remuneration.

Benefits and Perks

Only one in three grads for this school enjoy paid vacation days and about one in four survey participants get paid sick time. A large number of graduates set up a 401(k) to save for retirement. Most alums receive health insurance, and a fair number of grads get dental coverage. Pace University grads are also lucky enough to receive life insurance, a casual working environment, a company-subsidized cell phone, and tuition reimbursement.
