Degree Major

Former Billikens who fare the best in terms of salary hold a medical degree and earn a median salary of $182K per year. A Master of Science (MS), Dietetics offers the lowest median annual financial reward (approximately $40K).

Skills

Many former SLU students are familiar with Microsoft Excel, and nearly one in eight grads move on to positions where this experience is utilized. Orthopedics commands a pay premium of 28 percent for former Billikens. Competency in Project Management, Microsoft Office, and Financial Analysis also warrants excellent remuneration.

Benefits and Perks

Just two-fifths of alumni enjoy paid vacation and merely one-fourth of alumni get paid sick time. Most graduates save up for retirement through a 401(k) plan.
