With a median annual earnings of $117K per year, former Bulldogs who have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy are the best paid among the alumni population. Those holding a B.A. in Communication are less fortunate in terms of earnings, bringing in about $47K on average per year.


Former Bulldogs who have experience with Leadership can expect to make 35 percent more than other alumni ($91K on average). Microsoft Office is a popular skill among Samford alumni, with roughly a tenth of grads reporting using it on the job. Other top skills include Financial Reporting, Marketing Communications, and Accounts Payable.

Benefits and Perks

Although the larger part of graduates are compensated for vacation days, only one-third of alumni are paid for sick time. Most alums receive health insurance, and a majority of alumni get dental coverage. To plan for old age, a large number of alums maintain savings accounts through a company's 401(k) plan.
