Former Seawolves who fare the best in terms of salary hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and earn a median salary of $115K per year. On the other end of the spectrum, those with a B.A. in English Literature tend to do the worst in terms of salary, making an average $40K per year.


Former Seawolves who have experience with Financial Analysis can expect to make 45 percent more than other alumni (approximately $89K on average). Slightly less than one-fifth of SSU grads wind up using Microsoft Excel at their job, which is one of the most common skills among alumni. Proficiency in Project Management, Financial Analysis, and Microsoft Office command top-of-the-line rewards as well.

Benefits and Perks

Half of the alumni do get paid time off for vacation, but only about one in four survey participants get paid sick time. Most grads set up a 401(k) to save for retirement. Most former students enjoy benefits like health insurance, while the larger part of graduates receive dental plans, too.
