Knowledge of Microsoft Office seems to be related to bigger paychecks; in fact, skilled alumni bring in salaries that are 41 percent more than their former classmates' salaries ($78K). Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Engineering Design are among other dominant skills.

A fair number of graduates can rely on paid vacation days, but just two-fifths of alumni have the luxury of paid sick time. More than half of former students save up for retirement through a 401(k) plan. Health insurance benefits extend to more than half of grads, and a majority of grads sign up for dental plans.
