Benefits and Perks

Just over two-fifths of graduates are allowed to take paid time off for vacation, but only about one in three grads get paid sick leave. Health insurance benefits extend to a large number of former students, and a large number of survey participants sign up for dental plans. Most survey participants plan for retirement by taking advantage of a company-sponsored 401(k) program. Southern University and A & M College grads are also lucky enough to receive life insurance, a casual working environment, tuition reimbursement, and flexible hours.
