What is it like working as a General Sales Manager?

Pros: People management, well known brand, mass and basic Product. Good exposure to direct distribution and distributor management. Managing 200 people in team through different levels of managers
Cons: Office politics. Too much of involvement of boss and boss's boss leading to interference. No clarity of strategies. No motivation from boss and no training and development
