PayScale Cares

We’re bringing the focus and innovative spirit we pour into our products and services, and applying it to our community, our city, and the world around us.

PayScale Cares is a social responsibility group centered around providing opportunities for our employees to give our talents, expertise, time and goodwill in order to positively impact our community.

Our Community Focus

We care for our local, intellectual, business and internal communities. Some of our annual events and activities include:

Cycle for Survival

Cycle for Survival is a national movement to beat rare cancers. 100% of the money raised directly funds lifesaving rare cancer research. Every year, PayScale fields a team of riders to raise funds, generate awareness, and have a great time fighting cancer! To learn more visit

Salvation Army Toy & Joy Drive

Each year, PayScale Cares participates in an event held directly across the street from our Seattle office, the Salvation Army Toy & Joy Drive. PayScalers volunteer a few hours of their time to put on an event that brings holiday cheer to low-income families in King county; organizing toys and acting as personal shoppers—aka "elves"—is what this event is all about!

Classroom Supply Drives

PayScale Cares believes in supporting our educational community because investing in the success of childhood education is the most powerful investment we can make in our collective future. We donate classroom supplies to local schools and hold book drives at our annual company picnic to give all PayScalers an opportunity to provide their support.

Pioneer Square Spring Clean

PayScale Cares partners with the Alliance for Pioneer Square to improve the area surrounding our Seattle office by getting our hands dirty in the community, literally. We volunteer our time to tackle a number of projects like weeding, picking up garbage, painting over graffiti and removing posters from historic light poles. PayScalers enjoy being a part of something tangible and impactful, and we relish the opportunity to support our neighborhood and local community.
