Puget Sound Business Journal recognizes PayScale’s General Counsel, Jessica Nguyen, for outstanding leadership by a young executive
Seattle, WA— August 2, 2018—Today, PayScale, Inc., the world’s leading provider of precise, on-demand compensation data and software, announced the company’s General Counsel, Jessica Nguyen, was honored in the Puget Sound Business Journal’s “2018 40 Under 40 Awards.” Each year, PSBJ identifies people under the age of 40 who are dynamic leaders in the local business community, then shares their stories and celebrates their successes with an awards program.
“Jessica consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership while taking on a formidable task: building our entire legal department from the ground up,” said Mike Metzger, CEO of PayScale. “We are so thrilled she is part of our executive team and we’re proud to see her recognized alongside these other young leaders in our business community.”
Nguyen joined PayScale’s leadership team last year to build and manage the company’s legal department as the company continued to go through a period of remarkable growth. She came to PayScale from Microsoft, where she spent almost four years as an attorney in the company’s Office legal team and has formerly held positions at tax compliance software startup Avalara and digital marketing startup Hibu.
Nguyen will be profiled in an upcoming issue of the Puget Sound Business Journal, alongside other 40 Under 40 award recipients. In addition, the winners of the 40 Under 40 Awards will be recognized at an awards luncheon on September 28, 2018.
