Millionaires, Like You and Me

I used to think millionaires lived far away–behind shiny, steel gates or on remote tropical islands. That chauffeurs drove them to important, top-secret places in sparkling limousines with darkened windows. That they were somehow different, and they had always been rich.

After reporting on middle-class millionaires and their paths to financial freedom, I realized how silly and wrongheaded those notions had been.

The folks I interviewed were no different than my friends, family and
peers. They’ve faced similar struggles and triumphs, challenges and
joys. And they’ve worked just as hard as anyone in the middle class.

What sets them apart is their ability to combine financial savvy and
discipline with a willingness to sacrifice something today for greater
benefit tomorrow, or the day after.

I found each story uniquely remarkable, each person seeking to help others through the lessons he or she had learned.

So I invite you to have a look into their worlds through my stories.

As always, share your thoughts.

Be well,
kc
