CEO Magazine ranked California as the worst place to do business for the past five years? Why? At least some businesses say it’s because of the state’s stringent regulations, which make it tough to start and run a business.
The California Manufacturers and Technology Association (CMTA) seems to agree, arguing that the state’s effort to reach government mandated green jobs benchmarks sacrifices the existing job base.
The “right” green jobs, according to the CMTA, are those that encourage research and development, service and installation of new green systems. What do you think?
